Michelle Oasay was born and raised on the island of Oahu. During her Urban and Regional studies at California
Polytechnic University in Pomona, she began dabbling in floral design as a hobby. Soon enough her family and friends
were recruiting her to design their floral arrangements for weddings, events and homes.
After graduating from college, Michelle established a 15-year career in the computer industry where she developed
her business skills and experience. By 2005, she decided it was time to leave her profession and pursue her passion
in floral design. Creating modern elegance with flowers, her design style is inspired by the natural beauty of the
Hawaiian Islands. Michelle attended several floral design schools and seminars including Phil Rulloda School of
Floral Design in California, and the Floral Design Institute in Seattle. She continues to travel the world to seek
advice and instruction from the very best in the floral design industry.
Pacific Blue Floral's main design studio is located in Maui. Additional design studios are located in Nevada and
California. She and her staff travel to all Hawaiian Islands, California and Nevada for weddings and events.
Michelle's designs are influenced by her love of texture, light, dimension and color. Her natural artistic gift
continues to blossom as she constantly challenges herself to create unique, innovative and fresh designs. Michelle
provides a wide range of floral services for all needs, tastes and budgets. She will take a client's idea and turn
them into a unique and imaginative floral masterpiece. She is truly an artist.
